Indain Rupee

Hey Friends, Here i am discussing about Indian Rupee where 1 Indian rupee = 0.0216 US dollars. As we all got to know that our country "India" now has its own currency symbol . This unique symbol is-- a blend of the Devanagari 'Ra' & Roman 'R'.
This Indian Rupee Font symbol is designed by Bombay IIT post graduate D Uday Kumar, was approved by cabinet. We should feel proud as Indian currency has joined elite currencies like the US Dollar, Euro, British Pound & Japanese yen and making its presence felt on the international scene.

Cabinet and Uday Kumar have done their work by inventing it but now its our duty to spread this Indian Rupee Font symbol but first start using it yourself. So here i am gonna tell you how can you use this Rupee Font in your computer documents and web application.

Important:-
1. There is no button available yet in our keyboard for typing this symbol so we will use the grave accent symbol '~' which is above the tab button.
2. After downloading this font you are able to type Indian Rupee symbol in your computer document but if you will see the same document on others comp it would not be Rs but '~' symbol as this font not available in that comp, same for web applications.
So spread this font symbol as much as you can and participate in your country's progression.

How to Download & Install Rupee Font:-

  2. Change the font in your document by selecting the Rupee Foradian in font option.

For web document you can try the following
